Inventory of works of art

We are professionals in the field of history of art and are also happy to record stocks and collections of art objects of all kinds. Depending on your requirements, this includes photographic and technical surveys, damage analysis and a brief art historical analysis. We create the documentation for you in databases and/or on archive-proof materials, as required.

We are a team of highly qualified art historians with many years of experience.

We can offer you:

  • Inventory of art objects of all kinds by art historians/restorers
  • Art scholarly description and assessment of the objects
  • Notes on the state of conservation of the objects
  • References to the relevant background literature
  • Digital photographic documentation of each object
  • Preparation of digital image databases
  • Preparation of hard bound inventory books on archival materials
  • Archive-quality photo documentation e.g. with 35mm slides and/or black and white negatives
